I should add to the list: Running blog with post entitled, "Geeking it up"...check.

The new head lamp was surprisingly awesome. (To me, anyway. I know that it would serve as a source of pure embarrassment to my children, were they a little older.) Just picked it up at Runner's World yesterday. I was afraid it would be uncomfortable and itchy, but the high-quality, thick strap is great. (I would recommend paying the extra $15 for the improved strap alone.) And it was nice and bright--exactly what I've been looking for for those early morning, pre-sunrise runs on the completely unlit Creek Turnpike Trail.

And by the way, the little reflective panels on my shoes look really cool when the light of the head lamp hits them.
